Project Management

Home/Project Management

We provide full support for all the phases of product development: from creating the initiation document trough the CDR and PDR to the production and transfer phase. We manage projects with different perimeters by first classifying the project according to its size and developing a compatible program according to its time scale and development horizon. The following segregation will help you decide how to classify your projects

    • Software project for a product or application

Project of this kind aimed to develop pure software products. Software development horizons are variable and could vary from few weeks to several years.

There are three general scopes for developing software:

      1. Data management system

Those systems usually include a database which uses an application to manage and contain information about some process in an organization

      1. Signal processing and Analysis systems

Systems which are dedicated to the manual or automatic analysis of data acquired by a digital acquisition system. Those systems usually run analysis on the acquired data in order to recognized some patters of interest in the signals as a part of some research process used to verified some assumptions. Those kind of system are most common in many research fields (like biological, medical, physical, etc.)

      1. Feedback and control system

Those kind of system are the most complicate because the usually contain components of the previously described systems. In general, those systems composed of a continuous process which is programed to react and an event of interest is identified by calculating the appropriate reaction using a database of previously acquired data.

    • Small project for developing an electro-mechanical, or computerized device

This track is most appropriate for research labs, startups and sub-projects within a hi-tech firm. Most of the projects are of this kind required only few month of development until reaching a fully functional prototype. At the end of real full prototype feasibility test a design and optimization process managed by experienced engineers is executed to prepare a producible product. To understand the complex of your project it is useful to use this table marking V in the right place if you think the product of your project should contain one or more of those components:
